Acupuncture for Peripheral Neuropathy Sydney

Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN) is a common side effect for people undergoing Chemotherapy cancer treatments. It can come on during the course of treatment or some time after the treatment has finished. Those that have CIPN can experience symptoms mostly on the hands and feet. Tingling, numbness, balance issue, cold or heat sensations are all very common side effects and can last a long time and sometimes never quite go away.

Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment Sydney Acupuncture Cancer

Recently studies have shown that acupuncture can be helpful in treating peripheral neuropathy from cancer treatments. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32297442/

Currently, an effective pharmaceutical treatment for Peripheral Neuropathy is not available, so acupuncture can really help in this particular instance.

Based in Sydney, I have been treating patients with cancer and going through cancer treatments with acupuncture for over 15 years. Acupuncture for peripheral neuropathy has helped many people repair the damage done to the nerve endings and tissues involved by the neuro-toxic Chemotherapy.

As well as my professional experience treating people going through cancer treatments I have also some personal experience that can be read about HERE .
